The Members' Charter
The following sets out the membership terms of the Australian Badminton Academy ("ABA"). By enrolling in or participating in any ABA program, you agree to be bound by these terms.
Members must follow venue rules and the directions of ABA staff.
Parents may observe but cannot interact with students during sessions.
Taking photos, videos, or any other media content unauthorised by ABA is not allowed.
Uniform required: red ABA t-shirt and black shorts with logo, plus indoor sports shoes.
Non-compliance may result in class forfeiture or membership cancellation.
Dishonoured payments incur a $15 fee covering administrative and bank charges.
Overdue accounts receive notice within two weeks; repayment expected within 7 days after notice.
Maximum 2 make-up lessons per term.
Request via the Student Online Portal at least 24 hours in advance.
Credits expire at term end and cannot transfer between students.
Medical certificate required for late (within-24h) cancellations to avoid forfeiture.
Participants acknowledge that badminton carries inherent injury risk and release and indemnify ABA to the full extent permitted by law. ABA takes no responsibility for injury, damage or loss of property.
ABA may photograph or video students for promotional purposes without payment or copyright interest to families.
